Maya advises clients on Belgian and European competition law.
After completing her studies, she did a summer internship at a Brussels law firm specialising in European law, including state aid.
Maya joined the Faros team in September 2025. She is a member of the Brussels Bar.

Maya obtained a bachelor's and master's degree in Law from the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven). As part of this program, she spent a semester at the University of Strasbourg in France. She also obtained an LL.M in international and European law at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), where she honed her written and oral skills by participating in the VUB CampusMUN and the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court.
Maya speaks Dutch, English and French
