Annemie joined the Brussels bar in September 2021. She advises clients on European and Belgian competition law matters, in particular focusing on horizontal agreements, cartels, abuse of dominance and merger control. She is involved in competition law cases before the Belgian Competition Authority and the European Commission, as well as in Belgian court proceedings related to competition law. In addition, she has been assisting clients with more general commercial law matters (such as market practices and contracts).
Annemie holds a research master’s degree from the Catholic University of Leuven with a major in economic law and also obtained an LL.M. in European Competition law and Regulation from the University of Amsterdam. During her studies, she took part in a summer school on business law at the Catholic University of Portugal in Oporto and spent a semester at the University of Montréal in Canada as part of an exchange.
