The set-up is crisp and clear: limited groups and focus on the details of the new European regime (Regulation 2022/720). We will go the extra mile in terms of content and practical relevance. Sessions are scheduled for 13/10 (Dutch), 20/10 (English). Each session is eligible for 7 OVB points and 7 IBJ points.
On 1 June 2022, the new European competition rules on distribution and supply relationships (Regulation 2022/720) entered into force. The new regime covers a wide variety of distribution formats (selective, exclusive and free distribution – franchising – agency). As always, the devil is in the detail. An in-depth understanding is essential to make optimal use of the new legal framework. Frank Wijckmans acted as expert advisor to DG Competition of the EU Commission on the new legislation and will be leading the sessions. His co-speakers are Karolien Francken and Emmelie Wijckmans, who both have extensive practical and academic experience in this field.
